comprada ontem e lida da capa à contracapa hoje de manhã.
a mais fantástica revista circulando por aí não só pelos óptimos artigos e entrevistas (neste número entre outras coisas o hotelier andré balazs, o desaparecido claude montana e uma maravilhosa entrevista com david bailey; em números anteriores: malcom mclaren, helmut lang, amanda lear, antony hegarty, stefano pilati e muitos outros), como pelas elegantíssimas produções de moda e escolhas fotográficas (desta vez juergen teller, terry richardson e wolfgang tillmans) e sem sombra de dúvida pela mais genial e minimal direcção artística e gráfica.

bought yesterday and read from cover to cover this morning.
the most fantastic magazine around not only for the good articles and interviews (this time with the hotelier andré balazs, the missing claude montana and a wonderful interview with david bailey; in older numbers: malcom mclaren, helmut lang, amanda lear, antony hegarty, stefano pilati amongst others), as also for the elegant fashion productions and photographs choice (this time juergen teller, terry richardson e wolfgang tillmans) and without the shadow of doubt the most brilliant and minimal art direction and design.














e já que se fala de Fantastic Man não se pode esquecer a sua irmã mais velha (e um pouco mais indecorosa):

the amazing magazine for homosexuals, ou fag mag (como inicialmente descrita)

as razões para o elogio são em tudo iguais às acima referidas aos quais se acrescenta ser como deveriam ser todas as "fag mags", mais real.
onde mais se poderia ler sobre os pormenores mais íntimos da vida de paul rutherford (uma fantasia de adolescência), john waters, marc jacobs, peter berlin, christopher ciccone ou ver os nus de jake shears e casey spooner entre muitos e muitos outros gajos normais.
e para quem perdeu todos ou alguns dos números da butt a taschen (abençoada!) editou o butt book com as melhores entrevistas dos últimos cinco anos.
e sim, é toda cor-de-rosa.

and if we speak about Fantastic Man, her older (and more filthy) sister couldn't be forgotten:

the reasons for the compliment are exactly the same as above to which is added to be as all the "fag mags" should be, more real.
where else could it be read the most devious details of the lives of paul rutherford (one teenager fantasy), john waters, marc jacobs, peter berlin, christopher ciccone, or seeing the naked pictures of jake shears and casey spooner amongst many, many other normal guys.
and for those who missed all or some of the numbers of butt, taschen (blessed!) as published butt book with the best interviews of the last five years.
and yes, it's pink.
