quando no primeiro post foi referida a preferência por filmes musicais anteriores à música no coração (mais a querida julie andrews) referiamo-nos aos filmes das décadas de 30 e 40 onde toda a realidade era fantasia
para lá da referência óbvia e elegante de fred astaire e ginger rogers prefere-se a loucura desenfreada e megalómana de busby berkeley que só ficou a ganhar quando se juntou o frenesim da nossa carmen miranda
em baixo dois excertos de "the gang's all here" de 1942, durante a campanha de "política de boa vizinhança" entre os eua e o brasil

more than the obvious and elegant reference to fred astaire and ginger rogers it's preferred the megalomanic and unbridled madness of busby berkeley that only gained more when joined by the franticness of our carmen miranda (yes, she was born in portugal and immigrated to brazil with her family when still a child)
