sábado após um jantar com os rapazes cá em casa comemorando mais um e tendo em conta o tempo que estava lá fora acabámos por ficar a ver filmes
depois de vermos o "chant d'amour" do genet que já tinha comprado há tempos e ainda não tinha tirado do plástico, decidimos tentar ver algo mais alegre
acabámos por ver o "polyester" do john waters com a divina divine e o belíssimo (ainda hoje) tab hunter
isso fez-me relembrar a auto-biografia do tab que li há dois verões e a história da sua vida, desde quando foi um dos últimos "cavalos dos estábulos" do star system de hollywood perfeitamente loiro e de olhos azuis em finais de 50's até actualmente viver feliz a criar os seus (verdadeiros) cavalos

ontem, domingo, tal como todos os outros, fui ver o milk
sala cheia, até o primeiro lá estava à frente
e por muito que se diga que é o van sant a fazer cinema comercial e vénias ao "sistema", o filme é bom (poderá não ser genial ou uma obra-prima), o cruzamento entre as imagens reais e as actuais dão-lhe um toque documental necessário numa obra para todos os efeitos com pendor político e de intervenção, o penn é genial, o franco de cair, as interpretações perfeitas, as suaves introduções musicais escolhidas a dedo, etc, etc
e sim, principalmente toca onde deve tocar, a meio apeteceu-me atirar um sapato à fila da frente pelo chumbo da lei do casamento, e sair para a rua lutar

and even with all the critics saying that it is van sant doing commercial pictures and bending to the "system", the movie is good, the mix of real and actual footage gives it a documentary edge necessary to a work as political and of intervention as it was meant, penn is genius, franco is to die for, the interpretations perfect, the mild music score wisely chose, etc, etc
and yes, it touch where it should touch, in the middle of it i've got the impulse to throw a shoe to the front row for the failure of the marriage law proposal, and get out to the street and shout

fazendo um passeio pelo passado deste blog descobri que algumas das coisas que tinham sido postadas vindas lá do tubo pura e simplesmente desapareceram, ele é a olivia, o stevie, alguns dos almodovares (o tão bonito "ne me quitte pas" da lei do desejo), pelo menos um dos warhols (o "kiss"), o trailer do vezzoli (felizmente tinha conseguido fazer o download e tenho-o em casa) e outros que até tenho medo de ver

eu não sei se são os micro hot pants, a curtíssima camisola com os postiços nos ombros ou o capacete em lantejoulas prateadas que me faz sentir feliz, mas lá que é algo lá isso é

procurando no youtube pelo video da gabriela schaaf do "homem muito brasa" (que, segundo a cara josefa d'óbidos, incluia o herman josé, boa memória, que tal como não me lembrava da música muito menos me lembro do vídeo), procura essa que não deu em nada diga-se, encontrei obviamente parte dos belos idos anos 80 da música pop/rock/new-wave portuguesa
daí resultou um mar de antigos clips dos heróis, do antónio variações, etc
destaca-se aqui o amor dos heróis, do qual muito me orgulho de ainda ter o maxi (aparentemente e segundo me apercebi o primeiro maxi-single português)
