no site do imperial war museum, em londres, encontrei este simpático cartaz chamando mancebos para as forças armadas do nosso querido reino unido
mas é minha impressão ou, mesmo felizes por conhecer o mundo e ser pago para isso, aquele sorriso me parece um pouco exagerado!! ou terá algo a ver com a farda?!

fui à pena (algo que não tenho feito nos últimos tempos!!) assistir à re-inauguração da cruz alta (cruz em pedra num dos topos da montanha, destruída numa tempestade há não sei quanto tempo e reerguida uma sua cópia há dias)
esqueci-me de a fotografar mas:
fotografei a vista,

q'órror!!
quase um mês sem pôr uma porcaria aqui!
cá vão umas actualizações rápidas do que tem acontecido então

the horror!!
almost a month without putting whatever here!
here they go, some quick updates of what has been happening

1.
há alguns fins-de-semana fui passear de caiaque para o tejo e foi muito bom (quero fazer mais)

a few weekends ago have gone kayaking in tejo river and it was very pleasant (want to do it again)



2.
as aulas acabaram... finalmente! e...

the classes ended...finally! and...

3.
fui ao algarve ver bons bifes! com duas amigas tão necessitadas quanto eu
bronzeei-me um pouco e não me escaldei...muito
comi, bebi, dormi e diverti-me... tudo em dois dias

gone to algarve to see some good beef (portuguese slang for british)! with two girl friends as needed as me
tanned a little and didn't get burn... a lot
ate, drank, slept and had fun... everything in two days

comprei um bébé novo, preto brilhante com uma maça prateada já meia comida

bought a new baby, shiny black with a already half eaten silver apple
